Questions from
new parents
Can I give a clean as a baby shower or new-parent gift?
Yes. Silv's gift cards can be used for cleaning or laundry, so new parents can book when it suits them.
Are your cleaners police-checked?
Yes. Our team is police-checked and holds Working with Children Checks, and we carry $10M public liability insurance.
Are cot sheets washed at a high temperature?
Bed linen and towels, including cot sheets, are washed at 65°C+ for 12 minutes, meeting AS/NZS 4146. Baby clothes are washed to fabric-care guidelines instead, because 65°C would damage most garments.
Do I need to be home for laundry pickup?
No. Leave the bag in a safe spot at your door and we'll collect it. We message you when we're on our way.
Can I pause cleaning if we go away?
Yes. Regular cleaning has no lock-in contract, so you can pause or change the schedule any time.
